I am an Assistant Professor of Mathematics at Sorbonne University Abu Dhabi. After completing my first four years of university studies in fundamental mathematics in Beirut, I moved to Paris for my master 2 in applied algebra in cryptography at the University of Paris Saclay. I completed my Ph.D. in mathematics at Paris Sorbonne Université, Institut de mathématiques de Jussieu – Paris Rive Gauche (IMJ-PRG) and Inria Paris. My thesis was about studying effective algorithms for the computation of the L_infinity-norm of finite-dimensional time-invariant linear systems. My primary research interests are computer algebra algorithms, complexity theory, effective real algebraic geometry, and algebraic aspects of automatic control.
